The Hydrogen Independent Test Center – H2ITC – is a new infrastructure upgrading the present BTD automotive internal combustion (IC) engines and subassemblies test center.

BTD – Breuer Technical Development – is a trusted IC-engine development partner, providing efficient solutions for leading automotive companies. BTD specializes in the design, manufacturing, and testing of prototype engines and their subassemblies. As an associated partner in EU project IPCEI Hy2Move, BTD is expanding with a new test centre featuring advanced test facilities, including those for extreme conditions (altitude and down to -30°C). BTD will conduct advanced testing of e-fuels and fuel cells, the performance of H2-powered IC engines, alternative propulsion systems, and other components under a wide range of operating conditions.
