The equipment is a semi-industrial test furnace for 150–250 kWth burners (and potentially 400kWth), designed to study flame or flameless combustion with H₂/CH₄/N₂/CO₂ gas mixtures. It includes an insulated combustion chamber with optical access for laser diagnostics, two interchangeable burners with air preheating, a gas supply and mixing system, and full instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature control and data acquisition.
